We've seen some operational interest in this. Possibly we should make it easier, e.g., kdb5_util subcommand. There are some unavoidable manual steps, especially relating to cross-realm principals. In any case, we should document the significant adverse operational consequences that would arise from realm renaming.<br /> <br /> Will asks about the special kiprop principal. Apparently Solaris creates it automatically at KDB creation time, and MIT does not. Needs more research.<br /> <br /> July ops teleconference cancelled due to U.S. holiday.
