New page

{{opsnotes|2015}}
Some issues with test suite on Solaris -- hangs sometimes. Probably a pipe buffer issue. kadmind sends unbounded output to stderr; fills up pipe buffer ons some platforms. Seems to be a problem for Solaris 10 but not Solaris 11.

Backward compat statement? Binary drop-in, etc.?

;Greg: Things like prop, file formats are backward compatible in general. Otherwise, announced.

Sometimes iprop crashes on slaves.

;Tom: 2-year cycle. Vuln patches back-ported on request, as far as we reasonably can.

General agreement.

Multi-tenancy for KDCs? Probably doable, but not with existing code. It's likely more secure to provide separate VMs to customers.
